John Crawford Marine has just landed this stunning Stessl 460 Sportsman runabout, powered by a 51 hour old Yamaha F70Hp 4S and trailered on a Dunbier braked trailer.

A perfect estuary and bay family / fishing package that stands out with the near iridescent blue hull in the midday sun. Stessl boats are made here in Queensland and have been building boats for 2 family generations, known for their quality of build and user-friendly designs.

This is a big little boat, with a robust 3mm bottom and 3mm side alloy sheets, deep internal freeboard and generous beam for stability at rest.

The cockpit is huge for a boat of this size and well laid out with seating for 4 or 5 people, a walk-through transom and a boarding ladder make entry a simple affair after a swim.

If fishing is your thing, you will enjoy using the touch screen GarminUHD75sv sounder/GPS and this is also preloaded with built in g3 Australian mapping. The transom houses a quality Baitmate fishing table featuring 4 rod holder and a shelf for storage.

Under the carpeted cockpit floor, a kill tank or could be used to store a second anchor etc is fitted and further storage is found under the rear lounge, in the side pockets and a glove box is installed on the dash.

The helm is well laid out and comfortable when seated on the deluxe Stessl seats. The dash houses the flush mounted Garmin MFD, 2 x Yamaha engine gauges and the boats electrical switching with a 12v power outlet.

The trailer fitted is a Dunbier 4.7CMB single axle trailer that marries to the hull like a glove. Featuring the V-Loader design which makes retrieving at the ramp that much easier. Fitted with alloy dress rime, black plastic guards with side clearance lights and mechanical override brakes and a spare wheel is fitted for your towing confidence.

The trailer has also been workshop serviced, with new wheel bearings, new brake discs, new brake cable, turnbuckle and brake pads. Some $1,100.00 spent so the trailer is road worthy and ready for summer towing!
