We aren’t sure how Horizon “measure” their boats, as a result, we have deliberately placed it on the sales display yard away from many other 485 / 495 / 510 competitor models as its simply dwarfs them in comparison!

Volume, volume and volume, check out the beam, internal freeboard, room in the cabin and the presence this hull exudes! Allowing plenty of room for fishing or a family of 4 to seat comfortably.

Horizon boats are manufactured in SE Qld are one of a handful iconic brand names in alloy boats, offering boating families a practical boat with numerous design features in tune with both family and fishing use.

Anchoring is made easy as the rig has been upgraded with a Savwinch 880SS making the use of the ground tackle a simple press of the switch.   

We all desire four stroke economy and reliability; this hull was repowered in 2024 to a larger capacity and more suited 90Hp four stroke as the 70Hp was a little underpowered. Now providing a perfect power match with ample reserve power and fuelled via the 80l underfloor fuel tank.

The Yamaha has balance of factory warranty remaining to March 2028 and has recorded a low and verified 53 hours of use. Steering is made light as the boat has been upgraded with a Baystar hydraulic steering system.

The helm is very comfortable with quality seating, great visibility, a Lowrance 7” colour screen combo GPS/Sounder, a VHF radio for on water comms and electrical switching for the anchor winch and boats lighting etc.

Overhead a large bimini provides ample shade from the sun and both front and side clears are included as pictured.
