Delivered new in November 2022, the boat has been fished lightly with 15 hours recorded, and the only blemish to note is the spare wheel has left a mark on the mother-in-law seat forward of the console as pictured.

We see a lot of boats through JCM and most are much the “same-same” however occasionally we will get excited when we have the opportunity to bring to market a trailer boat that is thoughtfully designed, where everything has a place and “practicality” is the key measure of a great boat.

The Extreme brand is built in New Zealand, this particular hull features a 5mm bottom alloy sheet and 4mm sides, an integrated T-Top, bow casting deck with steps up and a lean bar for the lure caster/fly fisher.

When it came to the powerplant, a top of the range Mercury PRO-XS outboard was selected to deliver performance and Mercury’s known reliability and fuel economy. Steering is light via the Ultraflex hydraulic steering system, she spins a 4 blade Spitfire X7 stainless steel prop and is fuelled via a 100L underfloor fuel tank.

For those that enjoy stealth motoring, a Garmin Force 57” bow mount electric is fitted and comes with a hand remote and a foot pedal control unit (foot pedal unit brand new – never used). Powered by lithium batteries and comes with operational manuals for the next owner.

The console is well laid out with a Garmin 12” MFD flush mounted head unit, a VHF radio, electric anchor winch controls, lighting switching and the Mercury Vessell View 403 LCD engine gauge module. All at arms reach and overhead the quality T-Top provides ample shade and a little more storage for life jackets on the underside.

Extreme Boats, go to “extreme” lengths to offer the angler a user-friendly cockpit, clever use of space for storage, like the seating with folding backrest, draws on the underside of the seating and bait prep table, esky storage etc. Saltwater deck wash, a plumbed live bait tank and the comfort underfoot of the Sea Dek flooring installed throughout.

The boat is trailered on a custom fabricated G-FAB alloy trailer that is specifically shaped to marry to the Extreme 545 hull. 

The G-Fab trailer is quickly cementing itself as a premium alloy trailer that is being fitted to some of Australia’s and New Zealand’s most respected plate alloy brands including Stabicraft / Surtees / Barcrusher / Mclay and Formosa boats.

The braking system is a hydraulic override system doing away with cables and comes with a matching spare alloy wheel and fitted with a Sherpa electric retrievable winch.

Like all trailers sold through JCM, it will be workshop inspected, brakes serviced prior to handover to ensure your on-road safety and roadworthy compliance.
