JCM has just landed this well optioned Quintrex 460 Renegade TS tiller steer package featuring Quintrex’s “Blade Hull”.

An ideal coastal fishing rig with a huge, uncluttered cockpit and unpainted, making even more appealing to those that fish and crab in the mangrove lined creeks and estuaries.

Powered by a Yamaha 70Hp F70LA EFI four stroke that has recorded a low and ECU verified 88 hours use. A perfect power match for this hull delivering exceptional performance, Yamaha’s known reliability and fuel economy. With the upgraded underfloor fuel tank option fitted, you have up to 77l fuel capacity to take you to most corners of the bay.

The Renegade model stands out against other manufacturers with its Blade Hull, check out the chop busting, wave slicing design, unique and patented by Quintrex and Stacer. This particular boat also has the wide gunnels, a large foredeck casting platform and the stern deck for those that like to throw a cast net or flick lures. 

Underneath both the casting platform (and stern platform), loads of storage is provided  as pictured. The transom area is well designed and set up with a plumbed and recirculating live bait tank, rod holders, transom underwater LED light, battery switching and a boarding ladder. 

Mid ships, 3 pedestal seats can be moved/removed to balance the boat or when fishing and plenty of room is provided for crab pots. A quality Lowrance Elite FS7 touch screen combo sounder/GPS is installed and this is linked to a 3:1 transducer that has both down and side scan capabilities.

The bow area is large, an ideal place to throw the lures from and use the near new Watersnake 65lbs 12V bow electric motor from. This unit is powered by a Lithium 12v battery neatly installed under the casting platform.

Overhead, the bimini was also upgraded at the time of order from a smaller 3 bow to a larger 4 bow providing more shade. This easily lowers for when towing or storing.

Trailering

Trailering is made easy as the rig sits atop a Quintrex Alloy TEL1100B13 I Beam, braked trailer that will be serviced by the JCM workshop prior to handover including new tyres/discs/bearings/brake pads and adjusted where needed to provide you with towing confidence.

The hull marries to the trailer like a glove and this new V-loader design can even allow the experienced boatie to drive on/off at the ramp.
