John Crawford Marine has just landed this wonderful Aquamaster 500 aluminium half cabin. Beautifully appointed to fish the bay and yet offers family friendly comforts for a days social boating.

Aquamaster boats are built here in the SE corner of Queensland and have been making alloy boats for near on 30 years, they simply fly under the big boys marketing radar.

Powered by a computer ECU verified low 87 hour old Suzuki 90Hp EFI 4 stroke. Known for their power to weight ratio, yet retail excellent fuel economy. At the time of order the 90Hpo was chosen over the standard 70Hp to ensure power on demand and with a 70l underfloor fuel tank, range is assured.

The dash is well laid out with a large colour screen Garmin Echomap 95sv combo GPS/sounder fitted that also includes the mapping card as a bonus. An ICOM VHF radio is neatly installed for back to base communications along with a Fusion sound system for those that like their tunes whilst afloat.

Overhead a quality bimini top offers shade from the midday sun and additional front and side clears have been custom made to help keep the wind and spray off your face. Further a storm cover has been fabricated and a outboard storage cover is also included.

The cockpit is big enough for three adults to enjoy some fishing and room for the crab pots to be set up as well. The transom has a large bait board with rod holders fitted and we like the walk-through transom and door which helps make re-boarding easy after a swim or a snorkel...

Kids? Need a sleep between bites, then enjoy the room on offer in the cabin that features upholstered bunk cushions and easy access to the anchor well.

Trailering is easy as the rig sits atop a quality RE1613Q-MO braked Redco Sportsman trailer that marries to the hull like a glove. The RE series has side skids and centre rollers to aid the retrieval of the hull and if single handed you will appreciate this model over the standard cheaper trailers on the market.

Upgraded with Predator 13” alloys, plus includes a matching spare wheel and brakes are also fitted for on road towing safety. Like all trailers sold through JCM prior to handover they are workshop serviced for your towing confidence.
