The boat has been fastidiously upgraded over time / maintained and recently has had an open check book thrown at the trailer to bring it up to a 2800kg ATM hull rewired, fuel tank removed and inspected with new fuel hoses fitted on reinstalling the tank and new batteries early last year.

As the photos demonstrate, a lot of thought and experience has gone into the design and layout of this rig to keep the cockpit uncluttered with room to land a chinook helicopter – well not literally!

But wow, it’s a huge deck with 2.5m beam, deep internal freeboard and storage throughout, location of the batteries and seating.

If you are “messy” angler, there’s now no excuse to keep the work area clean with a salt water deck wash and the self-draining decks with 2 large scuppers fitted into the transom. The transom also has a plumbed live bait tank, large bait / fish filleting station and rod holders all around the gunnels.

Over head the hard top provides ample shade and protection from the elements and houses atop a large solar panel, numerous rod holders and we like how you can still access the bow via the walk around decks as pictured.

The helm again has been set up by an experiences and knowledgeable designer with everything at the right height, in the right place and a comfortable seating arrangement for skipper and crew for 6 in total.

The dash houses engine instrumentation, a large screen Lowrance HDS combo GPS/Sounder that includes a mapping card and is linked to a choice of traditional “down view” and or “side view” transducers. Check out the position of the VHF/27meg and Fusion stereo, again, sound design and positioning.

We all desire 4 stroke power and fuel economy, this rig is powered by a computer verified diagnostic check of 611 hours and for those not in the know this is a Yamaha 225Hp XL EFI four stroke, sold and painted by a deal done with Mercury Marine.

The engine has also been mechanically tested and is in very good mechanical condition and further backed with a 3 month engine warranty for buyers confidence.

Trailered on an in house built Trailcraft “I- Beam” gal steel tandem axle trailer that marries to the hull like a glove. The trailer was recently serviced and upgraded to a 2800kg ATM with new brakes and callipers even upgraded with stainless steel pistons for better durability.

The ALKO iQ7 is a class leading electric over hydraulic braking system that powers the brakes and naturally a suitable tow vehicle will be required.  The confident skipper will also be able to drive on/off at the ramp. 

A matching spare wheel is fitted that also includes the bearing hub for your towing safety and like all trailers sold through JCM our workshop team inspect/adjust/service and repair where needed to ensure your on-road towing confidence.
